Truly sad for such a wonderful talented person to leave us so soon. Your chicken breasts at La Vista Social Club that you cooked and served were always absolute perfection! The terrible accident was on the corner of 3rd Avenue, Tana and Linden Roads in Emmarentia (where the police marked the positions of cars A + B in Linden Rd, Emmmarentia). You are sorely missed Asleigh… but your spirit lives on!

Our sincerest condolences to Ashley’s family. Our 17 year old son was killed 11 months ago. Also a wonderful special kind and loving person. It is so unfair and cruel and it is something you never get over or come to terms with. My heart goes out to her family. Sadly words at a time like this are meaningless. May Ashley, one of my favourite actors, rest in peace.

I don’t think I can adequately describe the sadness I feel now – upon hearing of Ashley’s passing. I haven’t watched Isidingo in years – and clearly I don’t know Ashley, other than on tv and glimpses at the restaturant, but other than her obvious beauty, there was definitely something ethereal and angelic about her. The way she carried herself, the aura around her – she was clearly a special human being – as evidenced by all the comments on this site. What an unbelievable person and life. Whatever the purpose of this existence is, Ashley no doubt added a dose of something wonderful and pure. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. rgds. Sa’eed

Paul Mack Says:

On hearing of the death of Ashley I felt a feeling
of profound loss, similar to that of losing a close
friend. She was the epitome of grace and can never
be replaced on screen or off.She was quite frankly
the hub of the wheel in Isidingo, the untouchable
princess in the ivory tower.Every time she came
on screen, which was not often enough,I found
myself catching my breath. She elevated grace and
etiquette to almost ephereal levels.

She will be sorely missed and without her the world will be a little bit more of a darker place.

Goodbye Ashley, and may your next life be a longer one
and your soul find it’s true potential once again.

This verse is for Ashley and all who passed way to early from this life. R I P

They do not leave, there are not gone,
They look upon us still,
They walk along the valleys now,
They stride upon the hill.
Their smile is in the summer sky,
Their grace is in the breeze,
Their memories whisper in the grass,
Their calm – is in the trees.
Their light is in the winter snow,
Their tears are in the rain,
Their merriment runs in the brook,
Their laughter in the lane.
Their gentleness is in the flowers,
They sigh in Autumn leaves,
They do not leave.
They are not gone …..
‘Tis only we – who grieve.
